There’s been a lot of talk about the Westboro peepz coming to Denver. People are counter protesting. People aren’t protesting… We’re working out the details and once we get confirmation from people who are for sure showing up, we’ll share them with you.
However, one tid bit that’s been over looked is the fact WBC is planning on protesting at HRC’s Mile High Gala. And who is supposed to speak at said event? Colorado’s darling bisexual, Mike Manning.
Manning did an internship with HRC while on MTV’s Real World: D.C. And in some circles, been billed as their new spokesface who will take the organization far. Time will tell. But how cool would it be if Manning showed up in superhero garb and told WBC where to put it?
It would totally up his “legit” factor with me. Especially after Queerty reported the news he’s planning his own NOH8 campaign.
